  1. Anand Memorial Art Workshop
    Apeejay Anand Children's Library, one at Park Street and the other at Salt Lake, are exciting haven for lesser privileged children residing around Park Street and Salt Lake. It is also a happening place for the Apeejay School students who use it as a platform for their benevolent and philanthropic activities with the special children attending the library.   2. 'Express Your Dreams' - Poster Making Competition
    On 30th July 2011 a poster making competition was organized by CRY(Child Rights and You) and Oxford Bookstore Junior .The purpose of this event was to create awareness among us the future citizens of India that 42% of India's population are children of which 30% are underprivileged and also made us realize that how privileged we are now. It gave us a scope to think of some one other than us .The chief guests of this event were Mrs.Shamlu Dudeja of the Calcutta Association and the head of CRY for the Eastern region, they frankly discussed their personal experiences with under privileged children which inspired a lot more. The topic for the competition was-'Express Your Dreams'. There were about 5 schools participating in this event- Apeejay School, Park St; Apeejay School, Salt Lake; Birla High School; Loretto, Sealdah. From which Lorreto came Third; Apeejay, Salt Lake came Second and Apeejay , Park Street came First.

  4. BCL Venture Drama Festival
    The Apeejay Kolkata participated in BCL Venture(Shakesspeare's drama) enacted by the Apeejay School Children. The following schools were involved:- Apeejay Schools, South City International Schools, DPS Newtown,Sri Sri Academy.
  5. Debate Camp for Wild Life Week
    The Apeejay Schools Kolkata participated in the Debate Camp for the Wild Life Week on 22nd Nov'2011 at Ballygunge Shiksha Sadan.

  7. Debate-Quiz-Essay Competition
    The Apeejay Schools Kolkata participated on a Debate, Quiz & Essay Competition on National Voter's Day held at Mayukh Bhavan on 4th January'12. The schools present were Apeejay SaltLake, Hariyana Vidyamandir, Salt lake CA School, Bidhannagore Govt. High School.
  8. The Young Global Citizen's Summit 2012
    A team of four members from Apeejay School, Park Street, attended this overwhelming and stimulating summit. Several workshops on existing social problems, Forum theatre, Art and Craft, Song and Dance etc. were attended. Interactions were done with teachers and students from more than 100 schools from all over India. We learnt new techniques, values, the essence of team work (TEAM – together everyone achieves more) so as to enable our children to emerge as conscious, responsible and committed citizens and be an asset to the society.
