Among the various clubs of Apeejay School, the Karate Club is probably the most exuberant one. The Calcutta gojukai Karate Club -Do- West Bengal has Sensei Lalit Kumar Shaw (4th Dan Black Belt) as its chief instructor. The main aim of the Karate club is to develop a child's physical abilities and have a control over his mental emotions.

The recently held XIV Inter School Gojukai Karate Do Championship and Asian Invitational Karate Do Championship was successfully played by the students of both the Apeejay Schools. The students put up a commendable performance in various Inter School events.

This Karate Club of Apeejay School in a new vernture is proceeding quickly to its achievement.

◊ Registration Forms for Admission to Class XI (Arts, Commerce & Science) in Apeejay School Park Street will be distributed from the School Office from 16th March 09 to 30th March 09 between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. (excluding Sundays)

Duly filled in Forms should be deposited at the same office from 17th March 09 to 31st March 09 between 2.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. (excluding Saturdays & Sundays)
