115, PARK STREET

BG-180, SECTOR II, SALTLAKE

Project Citizen India is well researched and a very interactive programme put forward by the students.

Students begin by identifying a problem in their community that they think is important and determine which level of the government is most directly responsible for dealing with the problem (local, state, central). Students decide upon the problem, gather and evaluate information's related to the problem from various sources.
They examine the public policies that are laid by the government and later develop a public policy that they think the government should adopt. Finally the students develop a plan of action to influence the government agency to adopt their proposed public policy.
Students develop a port folio and documentation on the problem. The students of class IX Apeejay School (Park Street) are currently working on "CHILD LABOUR".
