Society for promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth

It is a non profit voluntary movement formed out a conviction that an appreciation of the richness, variety and aesthetics of culture is the cover stone of education. Every year it organizes around 1500 free concerts in educational institutions to make the youth aware of the diverse yet integrated strands of our culture.

Apeejay School joined this movement in August 03 when the Virasat programme was on. We have organized various workshops, cultural programme, talk by eminent personality to enhance the cultural aspect of our students.

Spicmacy, Kolkata Chapter organized 106 programmes in 2005-06 in 37 schools and colleges in Kolkata, Kharagpur and Kolaghat.

◊ Registration Forms for Admission to Class XI (Arts, Commerce & Science) in Apeejay School Park Street will be distributed from the School Office from 16th March 09 to 30th March 09 between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. (excluding Sundays)

Duly filled in Forms should be deposited at the same office from 17th March 09 to 31st March 09 between 2.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. (excluding Saturdays & Sundays)
