Age Criteria
Age Criteria
Determining the right class for your child depends on their developmental readiness and the school’s admission policy. However, as per the CBSE mandate, the recommended minimum age is:
- Nursery: 3+ years
- LKG: 4+ years
- UKG: 5+ years
- Class I: 6+ years
Additionally, as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the detailed age classification and date-of-birth ranges for the academic year (age as on 31st March 2026) are given below:
