History
For over five decades, since its first branch was set up at Park Street, Kolkata, in 1975, the Apeejay Schools have been providing 21st-century holistic education to students in West Bengal and Odisha.

Karan Paul has served as the Chairman of Apeejay Surrendra Group since 2004, providing leadership and strategic direction. His responsibilities include overseeing financial planning, shaping business strategy, managing diversification into new ventures, and supervising the operations of the Group, including the shipping and tea divisions, and schools.

Our Schools
Our branches focused on preparing students for the modern world.
Established in 1975, the original school remains a landmark on West Bengal’s academic map.
The Salt Lake branch of the school opened its doors in 1998, connecting with a fresh crop of students.
Apeejay School branched out across state borders in 2017 to start its academic journey in Odisha.
The school in Haldia was inaugurated in 2020 and is flourishing with each passing year.
