Apeejay School Haldia is a new school under Apeejay Group of Schools. Inclusion is the Hallmark of Apeejay School, Haldia started its journey with the students, teachers and all stakeholders with an empathetic heart to ensure an inclusive environment which respects the individual differences.
Apeejay has inclusive policies for all the schools under the group to support the differently abled students.
The inclusive policy, in Apeejay School, Haldia is under process which includes required infrastructure, specialists and teaching aids.
OUR COMMITMENTS:
- School is committed to the inclusion of differently abled students, which is at the heart of the institution. It requires screening and planning intervention. For that the Kolkata school’s special educators and counsellors continue to support the teachers and staff to identify and set out a clear policy to support diversity.
- The Apeejay Policy guidelines will provide clear and consistent information about the procedures to be followed and expected practice and provisions.
- Haldia is focusing on engagement of each child in class, so that no child is left behind regardless his/her ability or difficulty.
- We ensuring training programmes for our teachers to recognize and to understand the range of needs and diverse learning styles among our students to build and sustain an inclusive classroom.
- For this we have our team of specialists from Apeejay Kolkata schools who continue to extend support.
- Principal of Haldia is in regular touch with Kolkata schools’ Principals, the CEO and specialist teams to understand the needs to promote inclusion in every manner.
