Guidelines for Parents
At Apeejay School Haldia, we believe that a child grows best when home and school work hand in hand. Your involvement and encouragement play a remarkable role in shaping your child’s confidence, discipline, and curiosity. To support this shared journey, we request parents to keep the following in mind:
- Help your child arrive on time and attend school regularly.
- Encourage positive behaviour and reinforce respect for school norms.
- Stay connected with classroom updates by checking the school diary daily and MCB. MCB is a portal, where parents can view their child’s grades, attendance records, and other relevant information.
- Attend PTMs to gain meaningful insights into your child’s progress.
- Keep your child at home when they are unwell to ensure quick recovery and the well-being of others.
- Ensure that your child wears the complete school uniform and ID Card with pride.
- Maintain healthy routines at home by keeping screen time in check.
- Inform the school promptly if there is any change in address or contact details.
- For any visit during school hours, kindly follow the reception protocol to avoid disruption.
- Inspire your child to participate in school events—these experiences build confidence, teamwork, and joy.
- Taking note that no attendance certificate will be issued from the school as attendance is clearly mentioned in the report card.
- Understanding that character certificates will be issued only to the outgoing students of Class X.
- Using the “Leave Record” form in the School diary when applying for leave or explaining the absence of their children.
- Refer to the Academic School Calendar for important dates and details regarding school examinations, programs, holidays, and events.
- For details on School Uniform Policy, List of Working Saturdays, Term Syllabus, Fees Details, and Examination Weightage, please refer to the school diary.
Together, we can create a supportive environment where every child grows with purpose and enthusiasm.
