Nursery to Class 2
Nursery, Lower KG, and Upper KG
The junior wing’s Pre-primary Section focuses on development through play rather than on formal education. Since these classes are a child’s first exposure to a school environment, which can be daunting, they have been conceptualised on the ‘home away from home’ concept.
Our primary aim in the junior wing is to make the children feel happy, secure, and loved. This is done by providing an open, non-pressurised environment that creates an atmosphere suitable for learning. Children are encouraged to wonder and question, and, in the process, think of learning as an exciting and fun-filled experience.
At this introductory stage of schooling, Apeejay Schools focus on the socialisation of a child. We believe that education is a holistic process, so here we help students acquire discipline, and personal habits, even as they are introduced to letters and numbers. To achieve these goals, the best of Montessori, kindergarten, and play-way methods, have been adopted to meet the cultural needs of our community.
Classes I and II
The Primary Section is the second step into our school’s knowledge base. All the basic concepts learned here form the student’s foundation. To ensure that this foundation is strong, the syllabus is carefully planned to integrate the goal of learning and knowledge-seeking.
