ENCOMIUM 2   2026-  ‘Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring Tomorrow’
A day of pride, applause, and inspiration, ENCOMIUM 2026 – the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony celebrated our students who exemplified dedication, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence throughout the academic year.
From outstanding academic performance and exceptional accomplishments in co-scholastic activities to the commendable commitment of full attendance, every award reflected the spirit of hard work, discipline, and determination.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The Investiture Day Ceremony for the Student Council 2026–27 was held with great pride and enthusiasm. The newly elected council members were ceremoniously pinned with their badges and entrusted with their responsibilities as young leaders of the school community.
Taking the oath, they pledged to uphold the honour, values, and spirit of the institution with integrity, dedication, and commitment. The occasion marked the beginning of a new journey of leadership, teamwork, and service, inspiring all students to strive for excellence.

ENCOMIUM 2026, we proudly celebrated excellence, perseverance, and the pursuit of academic distinction.

Instituted by Mr. Karan Paul, Chairman, Apeejay Surrendra Group, the prestigious Scholarship Awards honoured the highest achievers of the CBSE Board Examinations 2026. The Surrendra Paul Scholarship Award (Science) was awarded to Soumil Roy(97.6%), the Jit Paul Scholarship Award (Commerce) to Neel Khemka(97.2%), and the Anand Paul Scholarship Award (Humanities) to Oindrila Karmakar(98.2%), each receiving a scholarship of ₹50,001 in recognition of their exceptional achievements.

This year also marked the introduction of the Shirin Paul Scholarship for the Class X Board topper. Aishani Majumdar, who secured an outstanding 99.6%, was the inaugural recipient of this honour, along with a scholarship of ₹15,001.

Adding to the celebrations, 76 students from Classes X and XII were felicitated as Subject Toppers, acknowledging their remarkable academic accomplishments across disciplines.

Every award presented today is a celebration not only of outstanding results but also of dedication, resilience, and the unwavering pursuit of excellence. Congratulations to all our achievers—you continue to inspire the entire Apeejay School Kolkata family!

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION

On International Yoga Day, our students enthusiastically participated in a rejuvenating yoga session conducted in the school. Through various asanas and breathing exercises, students learned the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and inner peace.
The session inspired everyone to adopt yoga as a part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Together, we celebrated the spirit of harmony, mindfulness, and wellness.

MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

Celebrating the beautiful bond of love, laughter, and togetherness this Mother’s Day!
Our little stars had planned a day full of heartfelt surprises for their super moms — from thoughtful gifts and touching poems to sweet gestures straight from the heart. Mothers and children worked together as wonderful teams during the fun-filled classroom activities, creating memories to cherish forever.
The highlight of the celebration was the dazzling ramp walk, where our confident kids proudly walked hand in hand with their amazing moms, lighting up the stage with smiles and joy.

National Science Day Celebration at IISER

Students from Apeejay School Salt Lake visited the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research,Kolkata to celebrate National Science Day. Besides insightful addresses by eminent scientists and distinguished guest, the students witnessed hands-on activities and demonstrations conducted by IISER students.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

Apeejay School Salt Lake celebrated the spirit of the Republic Day with pride and joy. Annual Sports Day -Sports Spectre 2025

Students of the Foundation Years took part in various drills and athletic events for their age group in the Annual Sports Day – Sports Spectre held in school. Along with the students, parents also sportingly took part in the “Family Race” and added to the fitness goals of the day.

The Annual Sports Day- Sports Spectre – was held on 4th Dec, at the NKDA Stadium. The day saw full participation of students across all classes in various track and field events, calisthenics drills, display of yoga and zumba, and pyramids. The event was graced by Shri Premjit Sen, renowned martial artist, referee, coach and Sports administrator and Mr Darryl Bloud, CEO , Apeejay Schools as the Guests of Honour
