Alongside my leadership roles as Vice President and Principal at GEMS Education in the UAE and as Principal of St. James’ School, Kolkata, I am delighted to have been allowed to serve the Apeejay Schools as its CEO – Education in my career spanning 30 years.

The Apeejay Group has covered many milestones in its rich and varied 110-year history. 48 years of these have been committed to educating and impacting thousands of students and alums who have passed through its halls. Long-serving teachers and senior leaders have been committed to upholding the Chairman’s and the trustees’ vision in making its leaders accountable for the schools’ sustained performance levels.

Our immediate and long-term vision is to enhance Apeejay Schools’ already high standards of learning and teaching by tapping into the potential of children by helping them take responsibility for their own learning. We also wish to continue encouraging our teachers to plan stimulating lessons with international best practices.

Equally important is our aim to grow our leaders across the network. We also want to ensure that our service is tailored to the specific needs of students in a safe and challenging learning environment.

Furthering the Apeejay vision, we want our students to be future leaders in a rapidly changing global landscape.
