Education Support Programme
Each One Teach One Programme: In this programme, students of Class 9 embrace their moral and social responsibility by teaching at least one child from an economically challenged background.
The children of Apeejay Anand children’s Library’s learn to sing devotional, folk, patriotic, and even fun-loving tunes in various languages, honing their skills through vocal exercises. They are trained for performances on occasions like Independence Day, Holi, Durga Puja, Diwali, and Christmas and get to showcase their talent.
The Library children learn different dance forms, their expressions, mudras, and rhythms, and often participate in school events alongside regular children. Sports and Yoga: the children engage in games like basketball, handball, throwball, badminton, and table tennis. Weekly Yoga classes where they learn yoga- asanas promote their physical and mental well-being.
Stepping into the Web-Tech room, the Anand Librarychildren acquire essential computer skills from their mentor. This knowledge equips them for the digital world, preparing them for future opportunities.
The children of the Anand Library learn to draw, paint, and create unique pieces in craft class. Through vibrant colours and textures, they express their feelings and ideas.
Discarded household items and accessories are used to create magical characters by the children. Storytelling sessions using puppets are held to help them nurture their listening skills, communication, and language development. Similarly, by using recycled materials like spools of wool, cloths, and chart papers, our Art and Craft sessions become a fun and colourful way to unleash the children’s creativity
