Alongside my roles as the Vice President and Principal at GEMS Education in the UAE and the Principal of
St. James’ School, Kolkata, I am now delighted to have been allowed to serve the Apeejay Schools as its
CEO – Education.

The Apeejay Group has covered many milestones in its rich and varied 110-year history. Forty-nine years of these have been committed to educating and impacting thousands of students and alums who have passed through its halls.

Our immediate and long-term vision is to enhance Apeejay Schools’ already high standards of learning and teaching. We wish to continue tapping into the potential of our students and help them take responsibility for their own learning while ensuring that our service is tailored to the specific needs of students in a safe and challenging environment. We also want to continue encouraging our teachers to plan stimulating lessons keeping international best practices in mind. Equally important is our aim to grow our leaders across the network.

Furthering the Apeejay vision, we want our students to be future leaders in a rapidly changing global landscape.
